From a light drizzle to a steady shower. Tune the wind, drop size and intensity.
Amber and crimson leaves tumble across your desktop with a breeze you control.
Blush-colored petals float through your workspace for a softer change of season.
Warm points of light wander across the screen, bringing a summer evening indoors.
Import PNG artwork and let it fall like snow, tumble like leaves or move like rain.
Small details. Your atmosphere.
The effects are transparent overlays. Keep the desktop background you already love.
Show the animation over open windows or on the desktop behind them. Use the full screen or a 150-point strip at the top.
Adjust intensity, particle size, speed and wind. Snow, leaves and petals also have drifting controls.
Decorate the menu bar, Dock or both with garlands. Pick colors, bulb shapes and steady, twinkle, wave or chase animation.
Add up to 10 PNG images, select or mix them and choose a motion style. Transparent backgrounds work best.
Click through the overlays to use your Mac. Control the effects from the menu bar and optionally launch at login.
Download the Mac app and find its icon in the menu bar.
Open settings, enable Weather effects and choose snow, rain, leaves, petals, fireflies or custom images.
Adjust motion and placement. Add lights, or keep it subtle with a desktop-only effect.

Effects, settings and custom images work locally on your Mac. Downloading or updating through the Mac App Store requires internet access.
Use the menu bar controls to disable weather effects or lights, or quit the app. Launch-at-login behavior is a separate setting.
